Lara Adrian: Kiss of Midnight Review

Okay so Lara Adrian. I hadn't heard of her untill a couple of weeks ago. I found her through the Amazon.com automatic sugestion tab...

Is this a bad thing? Yes and no. I always like it when writters put their books fully out there and I'm kinda bummed that I'm starting so late in the series (yes I'm one of those weird people who actually like to wait a couple of months for a new book, it adds anticipation and you don't get tired of the series nearly as fast as when you would read all the books in 1-2 weeks time).
And no as in, I always love it when I find a good writter out of nowhere and its even more of a nice suprise when you were a bit doubtful at first!

Anyway, back to the book. Kiss of Midnight is a good book. But I expected a little bit more... How more?
Its the first book in a serie. Its supposed to make you hungry for more and in a way it did yes because I started the second book today but I just didnt feel this immediate connection to the book that would make me go "okay, give me the next book RIGHT NOW".

Other then that I have to say that after a couple of chapters, I fell in love with Lucan Thorne and I managed to get into the book completely! I felt so much for Gabrielle...
I'm definately going for club Breedmate from now on!

There was an equal seperation between love (Lucan and Gabrielle) and war (awesome warriors vs rogue bastards).
Although I have to say that it's hard to get a grasp on how many Rogues there realy are. They say a lot but we don't meet all that many of them during the all night stake-outs.
Last but absolutely not least, I had a few weeping moments and that just made the book even better to me!

Lara Adrian I give you a 7/10 on this book and a healthy curiosity in your next books!
